April Homes Sales in the Cherry Creek School District

What a month for home sales in the Cherry Creek School district! Homes priced from $200,000-$500,000 are averaging only 34 days on market (DOM). April average days on market were similar to last month, however, list to sale price ratios gained in the month of April, up from 99.75 to 100.03% in this price range.  

Homes from $500,000 to 1 million had a slightly higher DOM than the $200k - $500k price point; however, they are still low averaging 44 days on market. Sellers averaged 98.36% sale price to original list price ratio. These stats are an improvement over March's sales as the market continues to peak.  

It's an incredibly hot market and the Cherry Creek School district has many of the top rated schools in Colorado. Homes within the Cherry Creek School District map span a large section of the Metro area offering various prices ranges for any home buyer. Buyers desire a home in a good school district and Cherry Creek Schools make the list for buyers’ top choice. The district offers 44 Elementary Schools, 13 middle schools (1 being a charter school) and 7 high schools. The Cherry Creek School District also offers preschool programs, summer school and other charter and alternative options.

Now is a great time to sell as values are up market wide.  It's still a great time to buy with low interest rates and owning is cheaper than renting these days.
